Hi
Does anyone know where i can find the end date for my broadband please ?
In the member centre it just shows my bills.
I'd like to start getting quotes from other providers and need to let them know.
Thanks
J

Thanks BenB
I'm confused though as it says i'm on a 24 month contract.
I don't remember agreeing to a 24 months.
Is there a any documentation showing this.
Also i noticed its showing a temporary fault as shown below.
Would this account for my recent drop in speed ?
THIS IS YOUR CURRENT BROADBAND PACKAGE
Unlimited Fibre
£22.49◊
per month
- Unlimited Usage Allowance
- 11Mb - 18Mb download speed (estimated)
- n/a - 1Mb * upload speed (estimated)
- *A temporary fault has stopped us checking your line speed. This doesn't affect your order. If you're happy to continue without a line speed estimate, please click continue below. Alternatively, call our support team.
- You've 8 months left of your 24 contract
- Great if you regularly upload or stream HD TV and movies, or you're an online gamer
Thanks
J

Yeah sure, what has happened is that you signed up for a new 24 months contract on the 14/03/15, this can be found with service notice SN223718499 and email reference E1026.
After this you signed up to a new deal on the 25/07/15 on a new 18 month contract but because of the same time lines its some how saying your still on the 24 month contract. This can be found through ticket reference https://www.plus.net/wizard/?p=view_question&id=108056619
I believe that might have just been an issue with our line checker but have you noticed a drop in speed?

Thanks Ben
Yes my speed has dropped by 10% which when you are on a slow connection to start with makes a difference.
I doubt anything can be done but i wanted to be sure there wasn't a line fault i wasn't aware of.
Cheers

Hi Ben
Ran through the troubleshooting but nothing wrong there.
I have a new mk 3 face plate with the separate sockets.
As you can see from my stats the attenuation is awful and interleaving isn't helping.
I was matching the attainable rate for months then it started dropping bit by bit.
But as i'm in the "acceptable" region i just have to accept it.
Downstream | Upstream | |
Line Coding (Trellis) | On | On |
SNR Margin (dB) | 6.9 | 6.9 |
Attenuation (dB) | 30.3 | 0.0 |
Output Power (dBm) | 11.2 | 10.5 |
Attainable Rate (Kbps) | 21455 | 1233 |
Rate (Kbps) | 17334 | 1233 |

OK so I have run some more tests for you and as I thought you are on a long line from your cabinet which is roughly around 1.8km away so it is a quite a surprise for that your getting the connection you are. Obviously with longer lines the more users there are on your connection the speed will drop and that is also why you attenuation is not great either.

If your neighbours are interested, forming a Community Fibre Partnership with Openreach could be an option ti improve speeds.

Unfortunately I don't have the information for that but it would be highly unlikely
