Broadband cessation charge - working line takeover

Hi,

Our broadband contract with plusnet is coming to an end shortly and we'd like to move to BT.

The Plusnet account is in my partners name. I would like to open the new BT account in my name. If I request that BT do a working line takeover when ordering the new BT package will my partner be liable for a cessation charge on the Plusnet account when it is canceled?

That shouldn't be charged for.
