Broadband Usage

I understand there will be some network traffic even when computers are switched off - what I don't understand is why the highest usage of this month so far is registered on a day when we were away (the middle day of a three day break away from home).  Can anyone explain this?  I think the router is secure but could someone else be using our broadband?

Re: Broadband Usage

It's certainly not normal for a lot of usage to be accrued when you are away. Are you sure you haven't overlooked the units so it's a large number but in KB rather than MB (1000KB) or GB (1000MB)?

Re: Broadband Usage

There's a greasemonkey script which changes all the display to GB: http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,103607.msg881633.html#msg881633
