Bought a third party router

As advised today by an agent, I have bought a third party router as PlusNet's router is utter bobbins!

It's a TPLINK one, £34.99 from Argos, seems to be working fine.

I was also advised to upload the receipt so that PlusNet would credit me for purchasing my own router, where do I do that?

Thank you.

Re: Bought a third party router

An ISP crediting you for using your own router/modem is a new one on me.

The plusnet router may not be much good, but it should at least work to an extent, the service you pay for is for phone/internet to be delivered to your property

Re: Bought a third party router

The bloke who I spoke to stated that the PlusNet router was pants and stated that quite clearly. They're awaiting a better one to be rolled out apparently.

It doesn't work properly i've had 2.

It may get delivered but its unusable with the [-Censored-] modems provided.
