Hi I phoned for a new cheaper deal on my broadband account and was told this months payment would be line rental + £2.25 for my broadband but this is not the case from the email notification I got this morning advising me my account will be debited £24.98 on the 30th dec, please can you look into this ASAP.

It looks like the person you arranged the discount didn't apply them on your account correctly. Sorry about that.
As the direct debit is in progress we can't amend it at this point and it will take out the full amount of £24.98, however i've applied a refund to a previous bill of £7.24 which should be back with you within the next 10 days (barring any banking delays due to christmas bank holidays).
I've also applied the remaining 11 months of your discount on to your account so you don't get overcharged in the future.
