Bill phrasing

Why is the way the bill is stated so not what they actually are?
I called up because my bill states that my call anytime international 300 was for 14.50, even though actual charge is 6.50.  When I spoke to the person on the phone he said it wad the line rental and that the addon charge was somewhere else. Also that if i do make an international call, that I need to hang up before 30 minutes. Can I ask why its 30 minutes for international, and 60 minutes for UK? Nowhere on my bill is a charge for 6.50.  The bill makes no sense and it seems to be designed to confuse the customer.
It doesn't help, that when I asked the person on the phone to hold from speaking for a minute he kept on talking. When I spoke again, I asked why he kept talking, when I asked him to hold, because my daughters were in the background screaming, he simply said he would just repeat himself.
Honestly, the bill is confusing and doesn't accurately tell me what I am paying for.

Not sure if you'll get a meaningful reply, there wasn't one the last time I recall the same thing being mentioned: http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,121539.msg1053317.html#msg1053317

Re: Bill phrasing

Are you looking at the actual bill or the Account Summary https://portal.plus.net/my.html?s=0&action=account_summary
As in my case the bill is correct but the account summary is rubbish
The bill can be seen here https://portal.plus.net/my.html?action=view_transactions&s=0 although the Talk Anytime charge is actually the line rental - stupid isn't it

Re: Bill phrasing

Since it's been raised at least once previously, why the heck can't 'they' simply identify Line Rental as Line rental on both Account Summary and Bills/Invoices, shouldn't be too difficult.     Roll_eyes

Unless, of course, they're becoming embarrassed by the line rental charge which seems to be subsidising new customers' broadband charges.  Lips_are_sealed
