Bill gone up slightly, unexpectedly.

So I've been paying £22.99 for months now and today all of a sudden, without any warning, my bill is £24.96. I wouldn't mind except I wasn't informed. I have unlimited broadband and don't actually have a landline so it can't be phone charges or anything like that. Nothing has changed whatsoever. Any ideas as to what it may be?

Fix

As a guess it's the CPI + 3.9% increase that took effect in June.  Assuming you aren't on a fixed price contract (which newer contracts aren't) then this is most likely what it is.

The bill breakdown available online should show you what it is.

@SeaJayde

If you don't use your landline to make phone calls that shouldn't affect your bill, but unless you have FTTP which PlusNet don't supply (other than for people on the long-closed to new entrants trial), then how do you think you receive your broadband service?  Smiley

All I meant is that I don't have a home phone at all, thought that was clear.

The bill breakdown didn't tell me that. Thanks, I had forgotten about that!
