Bill Collection Date

I was just wondering how Plusnet's billing system works. Say for instance in your account it says 'your next bill is due on 26th Dec' does that mean that your next bill is generated on that day and collection made so many days after that date/on a specified day or does it mean that as soon as your bill is produced the DD is submitted straight to the bank along with it?

Re: Bill Collection Date

Re: Bill Collection Date

On billing date an email is sent to your registered email address stating the amount to be paid and the date it will be collected. This date will be 3-5 days after billing date. Example shown in quote:
[quote=Extract from billing email (this is an example)]
We'll soon be taking a payment of £23.45 for your service. This will leave
your account on or after 27/11/2013.
