Best way to go about changing provider

Looking at moving to Vodafone for a lower monthly bill.

What would be the best way to give a smooth transition without a big gap of no internet?

Plusnet require 14 days notice I think, but Vodafone could take longer to get the connection active. Presume it is best to have some 'overlap' or services?

Also, would I have to inform Plusnet about leaving, or does Vodafone do that as part of the switching process?

Thanks

Re: Best way to go about changing provider

If you’re out of contract then the easiest way is to order with the new supplier. In contract I would speak to customer options team to find out early termination fees etc.

Details for Customer options team are on this page https://www.plus.net/help/my-account/thinking-of-leaving/
