BT trying to take back Broadband

Hi I have today received an email from BT telling me that my BT infinity order will be activated today 16/10/14. I haven't made an order only just left BT. I have an order number though(VOL012-97645229483).
can anyone help me with this

If you haven't given BT a MAC code, they can't do it. Plusnet told me as much last week when BT started a new broadband contract with no intervention from me, and told me they were going to take the line over.
You really need to contact BT though to ensure they stop that contract and don't charge you anything. If you previously had a Direct Debit with BT then cancel it immediately so they can't take any money.

That's assuming the phone is with Plusnet and not BT!

Hi aqya56,
Sounds like it may be a similar situation to what Den Guv was in last week. I have had a look at your services with Plusnet and both phone and broadband are connected with us and there has been no request to move your broadband or phone line over to BT.
I'd still give BT a call and question this though. Hope they can clear it up for you!
