BT claiming Broadband order not "closed off"

Just had a very interesting conversation with BT.
They've correctly cancelled my phone service (migrated to PN on the 16th of July) but have placed an order today (for activation today) for broadband (migrated on the 2nd of July).
I called them up, and they claim that plusnet hasn't "closed off" the order, and that's why there's a broadband order now active on their end.
I've spoken to PN customer support who tell me my account is all set up and fine, and that I've given a MAC code so everything is fine their end.
Are BT giving me a load of guff to get an irate me off the line?

Just called BT back. Call centre chap with some sense checked and double checked everything. Seems that the line order was actioned before the broadband order (strangely), so they thought I was keeping my broadband service with them.
Apparently its all sorted and I won't be billed for it, which is nice...
