Attempting, to cancel account...

Well, after three attempts to cancel my account, twice where I have sat on hold for over 40 minutes before having to leave for work (not everybody has shed loads of spare time), I finally got through to somebody today, after 30 minutes. Only to be told that they couldn't work out how to transfer me to the cancellation team, and that they would have to call me back?! No offence, but that is horrendous customer service. I NEED to cancel my account, I move in with a friend 2 weeks tomorrow!

Hi @letterpigeon,

 

I'm sorry to see you have experienced this when trying to cancel your account and apologies for any frustration caused.

I would recommend calling our Customer Options team on 0800 013 2632, they are open:

 

8am - 8pm Monday to Friday
9am - 7pm Saturday
9am - 6pm Sunday

 

They will be able to close your account down for you.
