Are RSS Feeds counted towards download limits

Hi All, I'm not very savvy when it comes the workings of certain things so excuse me if I appear dim! I have recently upgraded my machine running Win7 & since that time I have been near to my download limits (PN Value) a couple of times. Certain RSS feeds are already saved on the machine (MSN, Sony NHS etc) & are periodically appearing automatically. Because of this I wondered if this could be the reason for the extra usage.

Re: Are RSS Feeds counted towards download limits

anything that goes between your router and the internet, up or down is counted towards  your allowance,  but I would think that the amount on a rss feed is small
I have six and am on value with two machines and normally run at about 8G per month

MSNBC News I meant to type. Okay that answers my question thanks, I would have disabled them & I probably will as I never read them anyway.
