Any update on billing issue.

Hi can you tell me if your any closer to fixing the billing issue? Why no contact from plusnet to say whats happening? Are all the customers affected by this only going to be charged 90 days only or will the full amount be expected.

Re: Any update on billing issue.

@nitrams69,

I'm sorry there isn't an update at the moment. The other questions have been answered in other billing posts and in the mega thread, although this is quite a big thread so I'll pop the answers below for you:

All customers affected will have notes on their account monitoring their particular issue and will be notified when that issue is resolved.

Not all customers are affected by billing issues.

Only 90 days will be back-dated, all other months will be free of charge.

I wouldn't hold your breath either. The billing issue will soon be celebrating its 1st Birthday.

Re: Any update on billing issue.

In October I'll reach the end of my 12 month contract - for which I've not received any bills yet. I may want to cancel after that as ADSL2+ is just not fit for my needs (upload is just totally inadequate, and 4G is somewhat better). Will it be possible to cancel an account that is stuck?

Re: Any update on billing issue.

Thanks for getting in touch @smiffy1

The billing issues wouldn't force anybody to stay with us but the charges for the past 90 days would be valid if such a situation occurred

Re: Any update on billing issue.

Yes that's correct once the issue is resolved we'll only bill you for the past 90 days".    I have read this several times now. You folks at Plusnet really gotta get this one right.
