Ive been trying to add on the FREE plusnet protect anti virus but i keep having a message come up on my account

"an error has occured

You cannot make any changes to your account while there is a phone order in progress."

i havent made any orders or anything but just want the protection.

If you're on Windows 10, why bother? Millions of users including myself rely on Windows Defender which began pretty useless but matured into a fine and FREE AV. It has many detractors who hate MS anyway but have a look at the magazine and website reviews and make your own mind up. My Plusnet BB service is excellent over many years but I have found PN's freebies clunky and not worth the trouble. And as for the billing system ...
