Never having had fibre before, what exactly is the process? I understand I need open reach to come to the property and the green cabinet - or am I wrong?
Also, what are the timescales like for open reach to activate the fibre?
TIA
Chris

Hi there @wilcochris
We can usually arrange an installation within a couple of weeks and yes you're right about the engineer they'd need to visit the cabinet your line is connected to and your property.
Let us know if you have any other questions.

Thanks for that Adam. I've got a date booked, was more interested in the timescales on the day. I have a training day on activation day of my fibre and may need to rearrange my schedule

No problem, that's good to hear.
Regarding timescales on the day you'd just need to be available for the duration of the appointment slot. I can see yours is booked for between 13:00 and 18:00 on the 27th.
