Account closure, referrals and final invoice

Just migrated out today and had emails re final payment and d/d mandate.
In the final payment email it reads
Quote To view a copy of your final invoice please log on to our member centre at https://portal.plus.net/my.html
Upon logging in I cannot see this final invoice and my account is partly deactivated...also the direct debit mandate has been cancelled and I have active referrals.
Can this account be converted to a email only account (or similar) to enable me to receive payments.

Looking at your account, the outstanding balance has been paid and the referral credits refunded separately, so this should be sorted now, but please let us know if we can help with anything else. Thanks.

1) How can the referrals be paid monthly as the direct debit has been cancelled.
2) I need my VAT invoice for the final bill and credit notes.
3) I require the account no to close so that I can receive credits every month.

In practice, it is evident from a number of posts on this forum that the "official" line is that you are unable to downgrade to a free account any more (the only option being to pay about £20 a year to have an 'email only' account) and so you will lose any referral credits upon closure of your account unless you pay. However, there does appear to be an 'Unofficial" route to which some some posters on this forum have managed to get which does allow a downgrade to a free account.

Hopefully, you may be able to use it to get your free account. It seems to all depend on whether Plusnet staff follow official policy or not.
