Account cancellation?

Hello, I called earlier to enquire about cancellation and the lady told me i could pay £80 + the £20 i owe and they would then cancel my account.
I said that i would have to talk to my mother (the account holder) and get her to give me the money (because the direct debit comes out of my bank account) and the lady said thats fine and i should pay the outstanding £20 ASAP,
Anyway, that was all well and good but ive just received an email saying...
"Dear Mrs Jane Murray,
We're emailing you to let you know that as your cancellation request has
now been placed. Your cancellation will take place on 18/11/2013.

Does this mean they're cancelling it with no charge? Im confused.
If that is the case, then brilliant! 😄
If not then whats happening? :-S
Thanks

Re: Account cancellation?

I can see that your services have been moved over to an alternate supplier, for this reason your account has been closed. The outstanding balance still stands and will need to be aid within 14 days. You will receive a further e-mail from my colleague shortly regarding this.
