3 months free for referals

I am sure when I signed up the latest new customer I was offered 3 months free but have only been allowed a small discount. Am I mistaken? My memory says it was a special offer where both sides would get 3 months free.
Not got access to my main PC at the moment to check but hope I have not made a costly mistake as I said I would give the other user (a relative) the money for my free 3 months on top of their discount just to get them to use broadband.

The discount is what you get every month.
The 3 months  free offer has only just finished (28th March) and it should appear on your next billing date

I assume that you received an email  starting with

I am sure that is what it said but it was 3 months ago and I'll have to check my old emails when I get home. There was a 2 month delay in getting the adsl order completed through BT wholesale placing the order wrongly and I am not sure if this would affect the 3 month offer.
