tethering with Huawei honor 9 lite

Anyone know tethering works with this phone. I canceled my plusnet mobile account a few months ago when it wouldn't work with my old phone and now trying to decide between plusnet as an existing customer of many years and the £6 offer from Sky as a mobile only customer. The only incentive with sky is the rollover of data as I normally never use much data or call time except when away on holiday/hospital etc
Prefer to deal with just one firm and not sure of q.o.s with sky or even if tethering works with the honor 9 lite

I’ve got a Huawei P8 Lite 2017 and tethering works fine with that model.

No particular unusual settings other than making sure the phone isn’t in a battery / power saving mode so your phone should work.

Just going to check for 4g coverage updates before deciding between sky and plusnet but I think it will be the latter.
