On my previous network, I could submit a request through the app. Is there any way to do so without having to call?

I'm afraid there isn't a way for you to do this yourself online but if you can message me the following information to pass our data protection checks, we'll be happy to turn off the content lock for you.
+Your mobile number
+Your full name
+Your full address
+Are you the account holder?
+Your date of birth
+Last 2 digits of your bank account number
+Last 2 digits of your bank sort code
