Voice calls STILL going straight to voicemail!

I recently completed porting my number, and my wife's, from Tesco mobile to Plusnet but most calls are going straight to voicemail like many others. Has a solution been found for this problem yet?

We have a code you can use to prevent your calls going straight to voicemail

Please dial '#21#' from your handset.

Hopefully this will fix the issue for you nice and quickly!

@OliGaffney I suspect @simonasackett may be referring to this problem https://community.plus.net/t5/Mobile/Not-receiving-Incoming-Calls-Fresh-Sim/td-p/1485915 , which is calls being dropped when on 4g. As far as I'm aware the #21# trick makes no difference and I'm not aware of any solution other than disabling 4g.

It does sounds like that code isn't working in your case.

Have you tried keeping your 4G switched off and making a test call?

I've turned 4G to 3G on both phones and calls back and forth are working and a couple of calls from the house phone worked. I can only wait to see if this has 'fixed' it, but it's obviously not an ideal solution.

On the Virgin Mobile forum, some users have had success with this by, manually searching and trying to connect to another network (which will fail), and then connect back to the normal one.
