Urgent Can't connect after new SIM(need phone for disability emergencies)

as above, some of the issues are documented ones with Samsung Galaxies: but after much messing about, I managed to get to the 'choose networks', then clicked on Plusnet, just keeps saying 'registering on plusnet, then unable to connect, please tey later'

 

I rang the service centre on my neighbours phone(this is now only contact i have) and they said it would be activated within 2 hours, the sim also says  'not provisoned'

 

everyone needs their phone, but i am disabled and use it as my emergency network

 

Oh, and i had to break off the nano sim , there was a little border on it, but i left that

Ignore bit about cutting to shape, neighbour did it earlier

 

any of the support team available, no other phone to ring them

Managed to borrow phone last night, P/N are saying that EE service is down in my post code, checked and its does say that, and no fixed time for time for it to be fixed,

 

is PN able to chase up EE, surely it is still there responsibuility?

 

Any advisers available here yet

I'm sorry for the signal issues you're having. I'm afraid we can't influence the repair of a service problem EE are working on. I'd recommend periodically checking the network Here as we'd use this as well.

Thanks for reply, understand Plusnets position, etc, but surely EE can repair a mast in one day or so,

 

anyway will contact you if after repair still no connection

No problem @Rhetorik2018 It depends what's needed to repair the mast. Some repairs need new parts ordering, or permissions from third parties etc. There's a lot of factors to consider.

OK, I understand P/N can't do anything to expedite the repair, etc, but I do think they could put reports on their site with regular updates, after all they are paying EE to use the infrastructure.
