Upgrade offers not as good as uSwitch links

Ok, so my daughter has used 3.5 GB of her monthly data already inside two weeks and I need to look at upgrade options
upon searching the Plusnet offers it seems it's 12.50 for 6gb yet when I go onto the uswitch website and search for offers there I get 6 gigabytes with Plusnet for £11 how come I can't avail of this as a Plusnet customer what's going on here

Re: Upgrade offers not as good as uSwitch links

Presumably the Uswitch price is for new customers. My broadband experience is that new customers are always offered better deals than loyal customers unless you ring and negotiate your own deal.

Good morning theballboy ,

I would ring 500 from the mobile and I am sure they will do the deal or even a better one

The new plan will start from the start of your next plan month its very easy to do

That's the beauty of a 30 day plan

Also note though that the uSwitch deal is different in other ways as well, in that it is for 5000 mins talk appose to unlimited on the Plusnet site. There may be other differences, but thats the one that sticks out.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Re: Upgrade offers not as good as uSwitch links

There is a problem with unlimited minutes and texts as there is a fair usage policy used by most providers including PlusNet see below

But even 5000 minutes is 161 minutes per day for a 31 day month.

I'm on U/L minutes and have just looked at my bills highest 579 lowest 329

Fix
I have successfully switched to the same package offered by uSwitch even by using the online chat.

Re: Upgrade offers not as good as uSwitch links

Will give them a ring and see what they can do (under the intention to move away if they cant match) my daughter rarely uses call time so dont need the minutes -its all about data for snapchat/youtube/instagram etc

Re: Upgrade offers not as good as uSwitch links

Hi again   theballboy

PlusNet were doing 12GB data U/L mins U/L texts for £15 ask if that's still on offer.

There are lots of plans which are not shown.

And always remember that you get more flies with honey than vinegar
