Unlocking iPhone

Hello.

I ordered a SIM from Plusnet which should arrive today. Plusnet just sent me a text message informing me that my port request was confirmed and would complete tomorrow. I'm currently with EE and just asked them to unlock my phone a couple of days ago. I was told that it would take 72 hours to complete the process. So far, I have not heard from them.

Could someone please give me advice on how I should go about this? Should I first wait for EE to come back to me with the unlock instruction and unlock the phone before switching to Plusnet? Thank you.

Thanaset

Some information here that may be useful: https://ee.co.uk/help/help-new/getting-started-and-upgrading/unlock-your-phone/unlock-a-ee-device-to...

I believe Plusnet uses the EE network anyway so you may well not even need an unlock for your phone.

Re: Unlocking iPhone

Hey @thanaset,

Thanks for getting in touch.

As we run over the EE network you shouldn't need to unlock your phone. Once your port has completed we'll be able to troubleshoot with you should you need to unlock the device.

Please do let us know how you get on.

Thanks.
