Unlimited Texts = 27? surely not.

I have unlimited texts, but have reached my limit in the month with 27 texts.

That's a very very low limit for unlimited texts.
and Plusnet have started to charge overage use, and been charged 33p for an extra two texts (67p)

Is it really that low a limit?

Were they picture messages (MMS) by any chance?

No, no MMS

Had used a few standard emoticons like 😁 😊 🤔 but just standard ones, not animated Gifs or special large ones which can be actual images, just keyboard smiles etc which map to the character set.

Unfortunately I can't see a direct private message button, only one at the bottom of the page where it seems the feature is not enabled (see attached)

I've seen in another post that a charge may be made because the character length is over the standard SMS character limit.
As I've sent a few long SMS text that were composed as a letter, something that is quite normal for instant messaging or chat Apps, but my other network providers simply split the long messages and send as multiple texts automatically (or maybe the phone software is sending as multiple texts automatically - in which case there shouldn't be an extra charge as standard SMS character length texts)
