Unable to call certain number

Hi

I have been embarrassed today when trying to make a conference call for my new job.

They have two numbers to dial into for a conference call neither work on my plusnet sim.

I have tried THREE seperate handsets none of them work, can somebody please solve this for me.

The call does not even connect it just fails and cuts out before any dial tone e.t.c

Is the number a five digit short code eg 83xxx

If so PlusNet mobile do not support short codes

That is good to know , however the other number is just a standard 0844 number and that doesnt work either

Glad that helped

0844 numbers are far from normal they are not part of inclusive plan minutes and can be very expensive to call

Most 03 numbers are part of the package and you can call them

0870/0871/0845 are not part of packages

0500 is a strange one they are free from landlines but not from mobiles

I use https://www.saynoto0870.com/ to find a number which is part of my all inclusive package

If you have your price cap set to zero that's why you were unable to call it because there was no money in your account

If the conference call had been a long call it would have cost you a lot of money
