Trying to send a text to France from the UK.

I'm trying to text a friend in France to make sure we can contact each other. I'm using the +33 and have the correct number (They appear on Whatsapp)  

But my text is failing to send. 

Any help would be appreciated.

Does your friend have a French mobile number, or is he 'roaming' with a UK number?

OK, thought it best to check that first.

Assuming you're omitting the leading '0' of his number, I'm afraid I've nothing else to suggest, other than waiting for a Help Team member to spot this topic and respond.  🤞

The cost to text a French mobile is 6p I think.

Have you set your Smart Cap to zero if so it won't send

You will need to set your Smart Cap to £1or so
