Transferred to EE but Plusnet account still open

I have transferred to EE but they gave me a new number which is confusing as it means my Plusnet mobile account is still active. Does this mean I will still be charged on the plusnet account as it hasn't been closed properly?

Did you transfer to EE through Plusnet's closure migration programme, by contacting Plusnet and them solely arranging the transfer - and without contacting EE at all?

Or, did you sign up with EE directly yourself?

 

When I made the same move back in early May, I never had any contact with EE, Plusnet did everything. I received my new EE SIM card which had a different number, (that is always the case with a new SIM), and on the appointed day, my "old" PN number was ported to the EE SIM.

Hi @SP78 

It may be that EE has given you a temporary number whilst they arrange for your old one to be transferred over.

I'll drop you a PM asking for more details soon so I can double-check that for you
