Text from wrong number

Ported my number across ok but when I send a text it comes from the wrong number. I can receive them fine on my ported number but when sending they show as the redundant plusnet number.

This confuses people who now think I have changed my number.

How to fix this?

Hi there Why. Sorry to hear you're having issues.

This may be a simple fix - it may well be that re-establishing the SIM's connection to the network can sort this out.

You can do this via the handset itself, by resetting your network settings - typing in your phone's make and model followed by 'reset network settings' should bring up the instructions, or if you wanted to let me know which handset you have I can provide a step-by-step guide.

Alternatively, this can be done manually, by turning the handset off, removing the SIM card, waiting for five minutes before re-inserting the SIM card and powering your handset back up.

If you could let me know how you get on after this has been done, we can go from there.
