Temporarily stop data on plan

Hi does anyone know if it is possible to pause the data on a plan for a limited period (1 or 2 weeks).

On my phone I go to phone settings/mobile data and select Off.

As Baldrick1 advises, may be switched off using the phone's settings.

The procedure will differ depending on make of phone and operating system.

On my Poco phone Android 11 with MIUI on top, it's in settings, "SIM cards and mobile networks", toggle off "Mobile data".

There should also be a setting for switching on or off data roaming.

Thanks for the replies. I managed to get customer services to temporarily stop the data on my account 👍🏼
