TIP: Change length of time (number of rings) befor calls go to voicemail on Plusnet Mobile.

On Plusnet Mobile:

To change length of time phone rings before going to voicemail dial this code into your keypad as if you were making a phone call. Make sure you enter the numbers Exactly as written below.
**61*+447870020555*11*20#
The 20 at the end of the number is seconds you can change it in 5's

Like this
**61*+447870020555*11*15#
Or
**61*+447870020555*11*25#

Or
**61*+447870020555*11*30#

You can change it up to 30's and down to 5's

Hope this helps those who could not find the correct answer to this issue on the forum or from Plusnet.

That could be useful, but what is the default amount of seconds?

I believe the default is 20s but not absolutely sure, does it matter?

The final value can be set in 5 second increments from 5 to 30 seconds (5 is the minimum and 30 is the maximum). -Ashleigh

Yes thanks Ashleigh, for clearing that up, for those who couldn't understand what I had already posted in detail.

The number given is EE voicemail number.

The correct PN voicemail number is +447870020555

Thanks to OP for this thread and now I’ve got my phones set to 30 seconds, anyone noticed if you let your phone ring beyond the default 20 seconds there’s a tiny hic-up in the ringing tone as if it is switching to voicemail.

Not a problem to be honest and gives me notification that I’ve only got 10 seconds left to answer the phone.

Fixed ring time as sadclient, butvoicemail cuts in before ringing stops. Any ideas or cure would be appreciated.

Re: TIP: Change length of time (number of rings) befor calls go to voicemail on Plusnet Mobile.

Hi there Toffeenose.

We actually have a new voiemail reset code, which is **61*NUM**30#, where 'NUM' would be your Plusnet Mobile number and the '30' at the end denotes the ring time in seconds (this can still be adjusted in five-second increments.)

If you could give this code a try and then let me know how you get on, we can go from there Smiley

I have tried both the old and new codes. I have also tried the +44 and the 07 formats. I keep getting a message up saying there is either a connection problem or invalid code.

You should be able to see the correct format/number for your voicemail by dialing. *#67#

You can also see the voicemail number and how seconds yours is set at before it cuts in by dialing. *#61#

Have tried all option shown, always get request not fulfilled.

Driving me a bit barking to be frank.

Plusnet not at all helpful with anything detailed I'm afraid.
