Sorry - Another No Data thread

I could have added this to another thread however I feel as though it would get lost and not read by staff.

My number finally ported over on Thur, however I have no data connection.

I phoned customer services and was given the below to try but this doesn't work, 

Apple iPhone
From the home screen:
1. Tap Settings.
2. In the first section tap Mobile/Cellular.
3. Tap Mobile data network/Cellular data network.
4. Enter the following settings into the onscreen form, without changing any other settings:
Mobile/Cellular Data: APN - everywhere
Username - eesecure
Password -secure
Visual Voicemail:
MMS:
APN - eezone
Username - eesecure
Password -secure
MMSC - http://mms/ 
MMS Max Message Size - 1048576 (As a check, the image below shows blue text in the fields you should have completed)
5. Tap the left arrowat the top three times.
6. Press the home button.
7. On the status bar at the top of the screen, next to the name of your mobile network, you should now see a data connection indicator 3G, E or GPRS. This means the data connection is live and working.

Can you try the following:

Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings.

Hi again Rebeka (you assisted me with a porting problem)

Yes tried that several times since my number ported.

Tried sim card out start phone, sim card in but nothing.

Thankfully I can make/receive calls, text and use wifi, but no data.

Phone is iphone 5c

Well still not fixed.

Phoned CS who are arranging for a new SIM card to be sent out.

Not to hopeful that this will sort it but will update with result when I receive it.

I mentioned this on this post earlier today - "The other phone was an iPhone, possibly on the Vodaphone network which again had a data issue. Finding the Vodaphone profile and deleting that cured this one too (iirc the profile was not in the APN settings, but it's been a while since I've messed with an iPhone)".

I don't know if other mobile providers also have this profile folder, but might be worth a look.
