Smart Cap? charged if not used

Hello
If I set a smart cap and don't use it am I just charged my monthly 30 day contract price and not the extra smartcap price as well? Sorry if its a stating the obvious question but picture messages were included in previous providers overall charge.

@Andrea68 yes.

The Smart Cap just sets a limit on any out-of-allowance charges. However sending MMS picture messages is not included in any allowances

The strange thing emoji's are not charged on PlusNet Mobile but EE charge for using them don't know about BT.

My smart cap is now set to zero as that's now allowed.

Thankyou. So if I only text, phone and stay within data package I wouldn't be charged for the cap?

Correct 

If you have U/L texts and minutes and keep within your data allowance.

PlusNet allow 5 Digit texts to be sent to your phone but you cannot reply even if you have a  smart cap allowance set
