Sim not working help please

Long story, I'll try to keep short. Recently split with my controlling husband. He had been paying my phone bill. Huawei phone through Vodafone with a Virgin sim card. Had for over 12 months.
I ordered a plus net sim for when my ex cancelled my phone. It arrived several weeks ago, put it in the phone, worked fine etc. Took it out of the phone and used my old sim for the next few weeks.
Cut to this weekend when the ex has cancelled my old sim and I've put in the plus net sim and now it's not working. Just saying no service or emergency calls only.
Why isn't it working now when it was? Help please.
I have tried adding the APN info, network reset etc

I'm sorry to hear you're encountering issues with the service. Like mentioned above, it could be that the phone is locked to the previous network in which case you would need to obtain a code to unlock this. However we'd be happy to check there's no reason from our side ad to why you can't connect. Could you please PM:
