For about a month, when I make a call the plusnet SIM is greyed out, saying service unavailable. I have to wait about 30 seconds for it to activate. It seemed to start happening one month when I used up my smart cap - but this may be a coincidence. This happens now virtually everytime I make a call. The call also breaks off after approximately 1 hour. I now find out that others in the house using Plusnet sims have the same issue (different model of phones). They also say that standard text can take an age to send, saying "connecting".
We have good signal here, so its certainly not that. When the sims appear greyed out, there is at least 4 bars on the signal. And the above scenario seems to rule out a faulty sim or phone. My sim has been in use for well over 18 months, and the phone for about the same time.
Its becoming a safetly issue as we do not have landlines.

Hi @PlusFlash
I'm sorry to see you're having issues getting a service from your sim.
I suspect it may have developed a fault but if you can private message me with the following details, we can take a closer look. This information will pass our data protection checks.
+Your mobile number
+Your full name
+Your full address
+Are you the account holder?
+Your date of birth
+Last 2 digits of your bank account number
+Last 2 digits of your bank sort code
When private messaging me, please include a link to this thread as our staff private messages go through a centralised system internally so I might not actually personally message you back. Although just a few of us monitor our Community Forums so there’s a good chance I’ll pick it up.
