Happy new year to you all.
I've had my "And we're off" email,(sim has not arrived yet) and I'm trying to set up my account from the link in the email which is unsuccessful as I don't know the password,any idea where I get this from please.

I had the same issue. I did this...
Use the "Forgotten Password" on the page.
Use either the phone number of the sim or your account number for the Username.
Enter your email and you will get a reset link in about 5 mins where you can enter a new password.

The email should take you to a place where you can put a password in or similar. IMO
