SMS messaging not available on Plusnet?

Hello 

I've been registered for a GP service that requires me to text update to a free short-number service.

However following a tweet to support, Plusnet apparently doesn't support SMS messaging.

Is this reaaaaaaaaaaaaaally true or do I need to ditch Plusnet and find a provider that can offer this?

any pointers appreciated.

I'm affriad that short codes are not supported by Plusnet

Plusnet do support SMS messaging, but you can not send sms messages to 5 digit short code numbers

Except when you want to cancel/ get your PAC code, as required by OFCOM. (65075).

I'm coming to the end of my Plusnet mobile contract and am frustrated by the lack of short code sms. Anyone know which other carriers still offer it?
