Reveal number to selected contacts

Hi

I'm moving in to Plusnet from GiffGaff.

I prefer to withhold my mobile number by default, but reveal it to certain contacts (without using an app) when I call them.

With GiffGaff for some reason I had to put in *31# before the number I was calling - and I put that before the number in the address book of relevant people.

Does this work with Plusnet mobile? Or does it perhaps need to change to 1470, or something else?

Thanks

Re: Reveal number to selected contacts

Hi xgipper,

Thanks for getting in touch with us!

Once you have set it to private on your handset, we don't have any certain codes that will reveal your number to selected contacts however, you're more than welcome to try any codes you already have or if any are put forward by the community.

Re: Reveal number to selected contacts

Fix
Either *#30# or *#31# should work I think as they are CLI commands and not network specific as I understand it.

Re: Reveal number to selected contacts

Thanks. I have found *31# before the number seems to work.
