Responding to NHS messages - failed

I'm trying to respond (as requested) to NHS messages on a given shortcode number and keep getting  "sending failed". How can I fix this as I need to respond.

As the link @LifeonMars pointed you to, Plusnet do not support Short Codes. You will need to find a proper phone number for the NHS department and contact them by a phone call.

Ex - Plusnet Customer (2009 - 2023) now with BT

Thanks @LifeonMars and @SpendLessTime; not really the answer I wanted but at least it explains things. I'll try sms from my Plusnet landline. I believe that should work.  Just tried and that worked fine.

Hi @colourqueen, I do apologise for any inconvenience caused by being unable to send sms messages to shortcode numbers.

 

I'm sorry to say at this time we have no information to share regarding whether this will change in future.
