Refund from sim only contract

Hi. I ended my sim only contract early in 2018 and was told by the guy on the phone that another months payment could be taken but this would be refunded to me. It's now 2019 and again I have received yet another e mail stating "As your account is in credit we won't be taking payment this month blah blah..."

I contacted staff member Mathew Wheeler on the 30th Feb and as requested pm'd my details to him but have heard nothing since so I'm trying again with this thread. Can any member of staff help me ?

Thanks. Regards Alan.

Re: Refund from sim only contract

That seems to indicate they didn't properly cancel your contract

A seemingly common issue @ plusnet - as is staff not getting back to you.

At least they dont seem to be charging you the monthly amount each month?

Its a split cancel,

Like a split port or an incomplete route but far less infuriating and frustrating.

LOL

Might simply be that the account cant be closed while its in credit, and they aren't bothering to refund you the credit.

Hopefully one of the staff who will do what they say, even if they DON't get back to you, will be along shortly

Do keep us posted, and do check to ensure that it is properly sorted

- you dont want threats from PN of bailiffs as a result of their error.
