Proof of usage required for Mobile Insurance

Forum members,

As part of initial setup of my mobile insurance cover, I have been asked to provide a proof of usage of my 'To-be-insured' mobile device with the registered phone number I have supplied them.

Can I get such a 'Proof of usage' Evidence/ Statement/ Bill from Plusnet which would mention my mobile device's IMEI & mobile number on the same document?

I certainly got one of these from EE with a handset that wasn’t taken from them, so I don’t see why PN can’t provide it.

I have my own device, bought elsewhere and am on a 30 day rolling SIM only contract.

Thank you @dvorak for your response.

I have my mobile device bought elsewhere (Not from PlusNet) and I am presuming PlusNet should have no issues issuing a Proof of Usage document for SIM only contracts.

Do you anticipate any problems here for Plusnet to provide me a Proof of Usage evidence (with Mobile Number & IMEI) having said that the Mobile device has not been purchased from Plusnet?

Unfortunately we'd be unable to provide a Proof of Usage document containing an IMEI number if the handset hasn't been issued by ourselves.
