Price increase on new 12mth contract

Been with Plusnet a few years and just signed a new 12 month contract and then a week later they announce a price increase!.

Bit annoyed I wasn't made aware of this when I signed up again, as I wouldn't have agreed to a 12month deal.

Do they have a cooling off period? as I can get an even better deal with Voxi and they are not increasing their prices!!!

They do if you were already on a 12 month deal Smiley

Good morning

PlusNet definitely do 12 months contracts as I'm on one and when I renew you have the choice to remain on a 12 month at a slightly better deal or change to a 30 deal

Re: Price increase on new 12mth contract

Thanks for getting in touch @Runmum78

I can confirm that you would be allowed to leave penalty-free if you'd signed a 12-month contract.

You'd need to call us on 500 from your mobile or 0800 079 1133 from any phone.

Re: Price increase on new 12mth contract

Would I need to pay the remainder of my contract off though? as I only signed up for new contract 29/05/20.

Bad that new joiners are not subject to price increase!!

Re: Price increase on new 12mth contract

Good morning  Runmum78

I would dial 500 from your PlusNet mobile

Press 1

Then press 3 you are thinking of leaving

I am pretty sure they will do you a good deal

You must say that you are thinking of leaving because of the price rise because you can leave without paying a penalty

Please let us know the out come
