Have switched to Plusnet for EE signal but reading posts see this is not case. I am only getting G signal strength which I understand is really slow and calls cut out not very impressed with their advertising saying the used EE which is misleading.

Yes, and as well as that they don't support using wi-fi when you don't have a mobile signal.
I switched from BT to Plusnet and realised quickly that I couldn't use my phone at home as they aren't contracted for all mobile frequency bands with EE and don't support Wi-Fi calling.
Back with BT now at a much higher cost but at least I can use my mobile at home. It's the old adage "You get what you pay for"!
