Poor signal indoors since masts were updated

I've had poor signal indoors at home and at work since the EE masts were updated in the area.

Are plusnet sims 4g or 5g.

Wondering if an new sim would help if my phone is 5g compatible.

Have a contract  until September, but as the phones don't work indoor i might have to look at changing.

If I report it to Plusnet mobile, can they do anything?

Re: Poor signal indoors since masts were updated

Hi Welcome to the Forum,

Plusnet is only on 4G and for 5G you need a 5G mobile phone

The problem with Plusnet even though they say say they use the EE network they don't have access to all the EE bands there are many posts on here about it

Plusnet can have a poor indoor signal

I find this useful just put your address in

Re: Poor signal indoors since masts were updated

Thank you.

It doesn't look good, I've been with Plusnet Mobile for years, and only recently had this problem.

Looks like when this contract is up ill be changing provider

A work colleagues on EE with an older phone has been having the same issue, so I think I'll avoid them completely.

Shame really as they have always been good until recently

Re: Poor signal indoors since masts were updated

The problem may be the upgrade to 5G

I recently changed to Lebara via a special deal with Uswich 21GB U/L U/L for £7.95 £3.18 for the first three months the best thing I have done and no stupid increases in price every March/April

It's a Vodafone signal which is far better than PN where I live and 5G if required

Short code texts and WiFi calling all included

PN is being left behind

Re: Poor signal indoors since masts were updated

Thanks again, looks like I'll be changing provider when my contract is up.

I have a 3 sim and a labara sim in the house somewhere I'll find them out and try them

I had the 3 one for competition texts that I use in an old phone

I agree, unfortunately PN as being left behind

Thank you
