Plusnet keep producing bills 2 months after moving number

Hi,

I've contacted Plusnet Chat adviser ('Rebeka'), who assured me that my July bill was the last and final. Unfortunately that wasn't truth and I received yet another one. I moved my number away on the 20 June 2018. I'm not sure why they are doing it, I can only assume this is because my account was in credit so they will eat all the money they owed and then close the account. Pretty weird behaviour. You can keep that money just close that account, so I can cancel direct debit withour any worry ...

As we bill for services used a month in arrears, bills can continue to be generated for a time after the account is closed. 

 

We'd recommend leaving the Direct Debit open as, if you're due a refund, we will use this to return the money to you.
