Plusnet access to Band 20 (800mhz)?

I was pleased to find that there is a new EE mast in our remote rural area - allowing me to upgrade at last from my Voda 2g signal. 😱  I can get a good signal on an EE SIM, but rather than pay EE prices I decided to order a new Plusnet SIM.

However the signal on that is much weaker, and I think it is because I am not connecting to Band 20 (800mhz) - is it true that my Plusnet SIM cannot access this?  It is an important consideration when in remote locations...

@milvus  Welcome to the forum.

I'm afraid that it is true. This, with other limitations, are the price that you pay for going for a budget service.

and it wouldnt make any difference for voice calls anyway. Band 20 is an LTE band and PN do not currently support VoLTE.
