Plusnet + Moto tethering / APN settings

Has *anybody* ever successfully tethered *any* Moto phone with Plusnet?

(I realise that this subject has cropped up several times over the years, but I am still yet to find a definitive solution..)

I have three different Moto phones - each of which can be successfully tethered with either Vodafone or O2, but never with Plusnet. The client device (be that a PC or other Android device) can connect to the phone, but DNS lookup always fails.

Using ADB I have configured tether_dun_required 0 and tether_entitlement_check_state 0, but still no dice.

Bluetooth tethering works (albeit very slowly, as expected), and obviously I have internet access on the phone itself.

Can anyone provide a *complete* set of Plusnet (or indeed, EE) APN settings for Android?

There's an incomplete list here https://www.plus.net/help/mobile/mobile-phone-and-voicemail-settings/ but I'd like to double-check the other values too...

Re: Plusnet + Moto tethering / APN settings

Fix

Well, after much experimentation (and I have to say, absolutely zero help from Plusnet themselves) I've finally got it working:

Go to Settings > Wireless & Networks > More... > Mobile Networks  > Access Point Names

1. Tap on the menu (...) icon

2. Select Reset to default

3. After a few seconds of everything being reset, select Internet / everywhere

4. Then tap on Internet / everywhere

5. Scroll down the the bottom and tap MVNO type

6. Select SPN

7. Tap on the menu (...) icon

8. Select Save

9. Back the back button (or icon) to return the the previous screen - note how Internet / everywhere is now the only option

The tether_dun_required 0 and tether_entitlement_check_state 0 tweaks mentioned above don't seem to be necessary after all.

Hope that's of use to someone else...

Re: Plusnet + Moto tethering / APN settings

I know it's a bit late now, but I used to use a Moto G5 on plusnet, the tethering worked out-of-the-box for me.
