Please will Plusnet STOP inviting me to take out a mobile subscription?

Plusnet - as per Subject.

I don't have a landline with you.

I certainly would never want to pay for a mobile subscription from you or anyone else.

So just STOP "inviting" me.

Re: Please will Plusnet STOP inviting me to take out a mobile subscription?

Hi VileReynard,

Thanks for getting in touch with us. If you've never been with Plusnet or recently joined for any service at all, there would be no reason as to why you may be receiving marketing texts/emails direct from us.

If you have recently signed up to any websites with your personal details that does advertise Plusnet services, this may be a reason as to why you're receiving these third party marketing correspondence. If this is the case, you can usually click unsubscribe at the very bottom of your recent email that would have been sent to you from the website itself. If it is a text you're receiving, there may be an option to text back with the word 'STOP' or 'OPT OUT'.

As this may not be direct contact from us, I'm unable to confirm if the above will work, but you're more than welcome to try.

Feel free to get back in touch if you have any further questions.

That's a signpost to prevent confusion for those looking to log into their mobile account. It's not a marketing ploy to get you to sign up Huh

Re: Please will Plusnet STOP inviting me to take out a mobile subscription?

It's a damn nuisance - how can it be switched off. If I haven't got a mobile account, I could hardly have an interest in a mobile account, especially as I haven't got a mobile.

Re: Please will Plusnet STOP inviting me to take out a mobile subscription?

Where exactly does that 'invite you' to join their mobile service? And no, I doubt very much it can be turned off as it's to stop the technically limited who don't know the difference between broadband and a mobile phone getting confused.

Re: Please will Plusnet STOP inviting me to take out a mobile subscription?

The "technically limited" who don't know what broadband is should have their mobile phones confiscated.

Could Plusnet just concentrate on providing a decent broadband service, possibly spending a small amount of time fixing that broken webmail?

What about the technically limited who apparently can't read?

Surely it belongs with landline phone charges.

Why not include webmail in pink for the disenchanted?
