Oreo update on samsung s7 sm-g930f

I have still not had the option to update my phone to android 8 Oreo.
Any ideas why as others that have same handset have already had the update .
I have read loads on google but was wanting a simple answer.
I can do it manually with this from here.

Do you think its safe or should I hang on.
